Natalie Portman undoes `Superman, and `the dark knights rumors UP could

As two comic book films will go into production next year, the rumor mill is running rampant.

Actress Natalie Portman is rumored for a starring role in Zack Snyder-directed “Superman: The Man of Steel” and Christopher Nolan-directed “The Dark Knight Rises.”

According to an upcoming issue of Entertainment Weekly (via ComingSoon), Portman denied both rumors.

On Superman, she responded, “What is that? [laughter] No, I haven’t heard anything.”

She also answered about Dark Knight by saying, “Oh, I don’t know anything about that.”

With her pregnancy and engagement, it is unlikely in my opinion she will be casted in either movies unless the production will start later next year. Of course, these are fun rumors to speculate.

States the layers âfrom Valentine blue âwith Derek Cianfrance

A passion project isn't something that we hear much of, especially in mainstream Hollywood nowadays. While every other production is created by some novel, comic or random board game, there's a few original pieces that really stand out from the pack. It injects that fresh air into the smog of Hollywood, refreshing us even if for a brief moment in time. That's what Derek Cianfrance's "Blue Valentine" is, at least for myself. Cianfrance's latest piece shows the gradual blossom and withering of a relationship without holding anything back. Ryan Gosling and Michelle Williams are in the main acting seats of this heart-wrenching story which has gained Oscar buzz ever since it first premiered at the 2010 Sundance Film Festival. Now on the opening weekend of this film's limited release, Derek Cianfrance's twelve-year long "quest" finally makes it's satisfying end. But what do y! ou do next after you've finally completed your dream project? "This movie, I've dreamed about it for so long, and now it's actually a reality. I think the question is what do you do when your dreams come true? The answer is you keep dreaming."blue_valentine_movie_image_ryan_gosling_michelle_williams_01"Blue Valentine" embodies a deeper look into the relationship of Cindy (Williams) and Dean (Gosling), one that further develops through different circumstances. However, this isn't a typical Hollywood tale and is anything but rainbows and lollipops. Cianfrance didn't do it by accident, it was created like that for a reason. "I was more interested in making a film that was reflective of life and more of a film that I could relate to. To be more of a film that was about the people that I knew, people that were flawed. ""Most mo! vies are made in the image of God, they're perfect. And God is! boring because he or she is perfect. But what makes man interesting is our flaws. That's what's unique about us, what's wrong with us and beautiful. It's this kind of beautiful ugliness, this terrible beauty inside people." With that vision, and outlook on people in general, he fit Ryan Gosling and Michelle Williams into the "Blue Valentine" equation. Despite a couple of scheduling set backs, he was able to get the ball rolling. Sure, the two are perfectly good actors individually, but how were they going to hold up together?bluevalentine1Cianfrance admits to not seeing the two together until they began shooting, but once that happened it was magical. "We were shooting the scene where he enters her house with flowers and his face is all beat up. I just put the camera in the back of the room and just watched. They just had this instant connection, this very tangible chemistry b! etween each other... All this years that I had worked with Michelle and her character, and Ryan with his character, they were now showing it to each other. To see these two people get to know each other on the screen, I felt like I was making a documentary of two people falling in love. They gave so much to the film I consider them to be co-writers."The main inspiration that Cianfrance has stated several times is from a childhood nightmare that his parents would one day get divorced. Although that unfortunately happened to him, "Blue Valentine" is anything but a recreation of those real events. "It's not a film about my parents, it's a film about my fears and struggles trying to get through my relationship. It's about young people. It's a movie about twenty-year olds dealing with the generation that came before them with what kind of model that they set for them."In the end you can think of your own reasons why events happen in "Blue Valentine," and that's what Cianfrance w! ants. There is no one right answer, no one set perception on a! relatio nship that's the right one. "There's a thousand answers in this movie for why things happen, but then again there's no answers. This movie to me is made in the image of man and it's about yearning, bewilderment and questions of love, not answers."Love is complicated, painful and wonderful all at the same time, and that's what he was able to contain in one film."Blue Valentine" is currently out in selected theaters nationwide. Check your local theater listings to see if it's playing in your area.Source: Latino Review

Billy Mitchell thinks butt `the king OF Kong

Many of you probably have seen the 2007 documentary The King of Kong (and if you haven’t, Netflix it now!). The movie follows the battle between Steve Wiebe and noted Donkey Kong/vintage video game champion Billy Mitchell, over the world record for Donkey Kong. Since the release of the film, it has been fun tracking the back and fourth battle between Wiebe and Mitchell for the world record (Steve Wiebe recently reclaimed the Donkey Kong World Record from Billy Mitchell).

Billy Mitchell makes a great villain, but everyone knows that there have been accusations of selective editing and what not. Moviefone has caught up with Billy Mitchell to talk about the lessons he learned from taking part in The King of Kong. Watch the video interview now embedded after the jump.

More maintenance off âSpider One âoff Andrew Garfield

Andrew Garfield recently was seen in "The Social Network," but the role everyone really wants to see him in is the Peter Parker/Spider-Man role in the upcoming reboot from Sony Pictures. He got to spill a bit more about what it was like wearing the Spidey costume, which sounds a little strangely emotional from the way he explains it. "I have to kind of not look at my face because it doesn't make sense to me. I have to imagine that it's a much better actor's face in that suit... I won't like. I shed a tear when I first wore the spandex. I didn't think that the spandex would make me so emotional, but it did."Garfield continues on to gush about the blessing he got from the former Peter Parker/Spider-Man prior to shooting."I've never met [Tobey Maguire]," Garfield said. "He sent me a lovely message through a mutual friend and he gave me his support and it meant a great deal because a big! part of why I have loved and continue to love this character was his portrayal. To step into those shoes is no mean feat... It was generous of him to reach out and say something so I'm thankful."Principal photography for "Spider-Man" is currently underway with a release date set for July 3rd, 2012.Source: SuperHeroHype

Pictures with high resolution `off Steven Spielberg and off Peter Jackson the adventures off Tintin

We’re still waiting to see a trailer for The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn, which is the ground-breaking team-up between directors Steven Spielberg and Peter Jackson. We’ve seen a few images, and now there are high-res versions of three of them. So you can see all the minute detail that is going into the mo-capped 3D film.

These images were originally in Empire, and they show Tintin (Jamie Bell) and Captain Haddock (Andy Serkis) in a stunning desert shot, then Tintin and Barnaby (Joe Starr) encountering one another in a very noirish shot, and finally the twins Thompson and Thompson (Simon Pegg and Nick Frost) with Silk (Toby Jones) in the foreground.
