Alistair Overeem wins K-1 2010

At the K-1 201 W0orld Championship Final in Japan last night, Alistar Overeem won K-1 the world championship in a matchup against three time K-1 world champion Peter Aerts. Overeem is also the Strikeforce MMA champion currently. Overeem also made MMA history with this championship victory, as he now holds two world championship titles in two MMA categories, a never before accomplished feat. But don’t expect to see Overeem back in the cage any time soon, as he is likely to now defend his championship in the coming K-1 year. Lets hope this crossover victory brings in new fans for K-1 from the rest of the world which is currently UFC crazy.
