A few days ago I had a chance to go to Los Angeles and check out Joe Wright's new spy thriller "Hanna," starring Eric Bana, Saoirse Ronan, and Cate Blanchett Olivia Williams, Tom Hollander, and Jason Flemyng. I don't review a lot of films myself but I have to say that I really enjoyed "Hanna." The film is a very good action thriller, which has heavy action and great performances all around, plus I really liked that Joe Wright put elements of dark fairy tales into the film. The score from The Chemical Brothers is just awesome. The films score is up there with Trent Reznor/Atticus Ross from THE SOCIAL NETWORK, and Daft Punk's TRON:LEGACY.The film follows Hanna (Ronan) a 16 year-old who uniquely, has the strength, the stamina, and the smarts of a soldier; these come from being raised by her father (Bana), an ex-CIA man, in the wilds of Finland. Living a life unlike any other teena! ger, her upbringing and training have been one and the same, all geared to making her the perfect assassin. The turning point in her adolescence is a sharp one; sent into the world by her father on a mission, Hanna journeys stealthily across Europe while eluding agents dispatched after her by a ruthless intelligence operative with secrets of her own (Ms. Blanchett). As she nears her ultimate target, Hanna faces startling revelations about her existence and unexpected questions about her humanity.I sat down with Eric Bana, Saoirse Ronan and Director Joe Wright to talk about the film, which is a different film for Wright who has directed PRIDE & PREJUDICE, ATONEMENT, and THE SOLOIST. Check out the Exclusive interviews below."Hanna" will hit theaters everywhere on April 8th, 2011. Source: LatinoReview
