Liam Neeson, who has been in everything from 'Star Wars' to 'Batman,' had shot a cameo for 'The Hangover Part II' in which he played a tattoo artist in Bangkok, Thailand. The cameo however, has been nixed from the final cut of the film because director Todd Phillips decided to cut a scene that followed it, which doesn't allow for Neeson's contribution to fit in with the flow of the film. Phillips re-shot the scene a few weeks back and was hoping that Neeson would in some way be involved, but with the veteran actor working on 'Wrath of the Titans,' he's all booked up. The tattoo artist that Neeson was originally to cameo as has been recast with Nick Cassavetes snatching up the role. Speaking with Variety, Phillips said on the matter: "We were in a complete time crunch so I called up Nick and asked if he would do the part. He came in and crushed it and that is the scene that you will ultimately see in the film. [I'm excited for everyone] to see the film. It turned out great." Here's the synopsis for the anticipated sequel: "Phil, Stu, and Alan travel to Bangkok for Stu's wedding only to find themselves in another post-blackout misadventure." Headlined by Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms and Zach Galifianakis, 'The Hangover Part II' makes its way to theaters next month on May 26.Source: Variety
