Paramount and Warner Bros Pictures is trying to combine the star power of Tom Hanks and Sandra Bullock for the upcoming film "Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close". This comes in perfect time for Bullock, who has yet to cling onto a role since she won the Oscar earlier this year for "The Blind Side".Stephen Daldry, who's previous works include "The Reader" and "Billy Elliot", is attached to direct off the adapted script written by Eric Roth. "Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close", based off the novel written by Jonathan Safran Foer, centers on a 9-year-old boy who finds a key in a vase that belongs to his father -- who perished in the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks -- and searches to find the lock that goes with it. Attached to produce is Scott Rudin who's been trying to get this project off the ground for a few years.Hanks will be on the screen co-starring with Julia Roberts once more in "Larry Crown! e", out in theaters next year.Source: Variety
