Dell Toro exhausted one has strand project for âinsanity mountains â

A lot of positive feedback flooded out when everyone read up last week that popular director Guillermo Del Toro would be taking on "At the Mountains of Madness". We've been guessing for awhile as to what Del Toro would be directing next, but wouldn't it be weird to find out that he was going to almost take on a Tom Cruise project? Even more so, that Tom Cruise project Del Toro could've been on was another telling of the popular fictionalized vampire hunter Van Helsing.Yes, Cruise would have produced and possibly starred in the strange re-telling of the character Van Helsing. How would it have been different? Who knows, especially now that Del Toro is detached from the production. The Universal Pictures project is now floating around to see if somebody else will take up the directing mantle and help get this off the ground.The last Van Helsing movie that hit the ! mainstream was the infamous Hugh Jackman starring CGI-disaster. Then again, I know some people who totally dig that version of "Van Helsing" so everyone has a different opinion.
