With just a few days to go before the Manchester leg of filming, the crew of Captain America is busy preparing the streets of the cityâs Northern Quarter. The production will be taking advantage of the streetsâ American style architecture, will be retrofitting the buildings to transform the viewers back to 1940s New York.
As promised, our spy in the area went for a wander round and saw signs of activity ramping up. Amongst the goings on were plenty of high-viz-jacketed security guards â" on every corner apparently â" a small group of what appeared to be location crew complete with notes and clip boards walking round the area, crew equipment trucks and vans, and a couple of large marquees, presumably where the 40s-era shop fronts and street furniture are being assembled.
I'm wondering why Marvelmovienews felt the need to watermark these pictures of public areas and mark them as exclusive. It's not like they're on a backlot. That's like me going to one of a hundred locations around Los Angeles where they shoot movies and TV shows, taking pics of the buildings they're at and watermarking them. Made me almost not post the story. A Manchester blog took some pics last month of the Northern Quarter and also talked about how similar it is to New York. So ya...watermarking these images was pretty unnecessary fellas.Anyway, click either pic to see the rest. Source: Marvelmovienews
