Ground off the development side off Tron d' E3 2010

It's been a busy week in the world of gaming and E3 2010 (Electronic Entertainment Expo) has been the site for many video game developers to showcase their latest products and titles. Tied directly into the video game world is one of this year's most anticipated films, Tron Legacy, the sequel to 1982's Tron, Disney's groundbreaking adventure that brought audiences into the world of the video game. With a release date of December 17, 2010, we are exactly six months away from revisiting the world of Tron. In conjunction with the release of the movie, Disney Interactive Studios and Propaganda Games are releasing Tron Evolution a prequel story set between both films that sets up the events in Tron Legacy. The game will debut in December for Xbox 360 and Nintendo Wii consoles, but the 3D version will be available exclusively for the Sony's Playstation 3.At E3 the latest trailer was unve! iled which re-introduces us to the world of Tron that over the last two decades appears to have grown exceedingly dangerous. Bruce Boxleitner narrates the trailer (either as Tron or his user Alan Bradley) as he guides a lone warrior on a mission to protect the system from dangerous and corrupt programs. Lightcycles race, warriors battle with deadly discs and Recognizer ships de-rez in a world far more brutal than the one we were introduced to in 1982. If the movie (also to be released in 3D) is as exciting and action packed as this title looks, then it stands to be a game changer much like Avatar come Christmas.
