Will Smith's golden love demon debuted in his laughable and retarded Karate Kid movie, kicking the crap out of the competition. The Karate Kid, which has no karate in it, just a bunch of little kids making faces at each other while Jackie Chan tells Jaden to pick up his stupid jacket, dominated the box office with $56 million. Guess what that means? A sequel will be greenlit, Jaden Smith will be rewarded with more movie roles, and we'll never heard the end of how talented he is from Daddy Smith. Congrats folks. Can't wait for Jaden Smith's pop locking dance off movie. (I still say he shows up in Bad Boys III as a drug dealer.)While I didn't like The A-Team (an internet crime apparently) a lot of folks did, rewarding Fox with a $26 million opening. I thought it would do worse and that Karate Krap would do better but Greek and Shrek dipped into their box office numbers a bit. Killers is sti! ll in theaters?Prince of Persia fell to 6th place with $6.6 million. So far the Bruckheimer sand infested adventure film has generated $262 million rupees worldwide. Don't think we're gonna see a sequel to this one.The Smith family can kiss the #1 box office weekend title goodbye come Friday when Toy Story 3 opens and obliterates everything its path. I've seen the movie twice and it's fantastic. Expect it to do huge numbers. Jonah Hex, the weird, yet fun western, will more than likely come in third behind TS3 and KK.
