EW.com has a whole bunch of new pictures from upcoming movies like Priest, The Hungry Rabbit Jumps, The Debt and more. With Comic-Con only days away, now is a good time to get a jump on some movie buzz that won't be talked about at the world's biggest nerd convention. How many of my faithful loving readers are going to Comic-Con this year? Usually one of you e-mails me that they're gonna kick my ass, but this year has been pretty chill. That's good, cause I'm becoming an old man now and it would look bad on you for beating up and old guy. Plus I'll probably be drunk anyway and not put up much of a fight.Back to these super sexy images, just click on them to see more images from Lost and a bunch of other movies and tv shows. My right arm is bothering me so I'm not gonna run down everything they have. See? Told you I was becoming an old man. All of the descriptions under the pics are from EW.
SAM WORTHINGTON SETTLES HIS DEBTNo Na'vi here. But Avatar's Sam Worthington is still kicking butt in The Debt, an upcoming drama costarring Helen Mirren. The film (out Dec. 29) tells the story of a former Mossad agent (Mirren) who must revisit a decades-old mission that led to the death of a notorious Nazi war criminal. Where does Worthington come in? He plays a fellow agent in the flashbacks.
Nicolas Cage and January Jones Seek RevengeIn the upcoming film The Hungry Rabbit Jumps, Nicolas Cage plays a man whose life is turned upside down when his wife (January Jones) is assaulted and he makes a deal with a mysterious group offering vigilante justice. But the film (directed by Species' Roger Donaldson) isn't your typical vengeful-spouse flick. ''It's got tons of surprises,'' says producer Ram Bergman. ''It's more like The Game or Strangers on a Train than a Charles Bronson movie.''
Paul Bettany Battles the Undead Bettany plays a vampire-hunting man of the cloth in Priest (due out in 2011), set ?in a dystopian future where the bloodsuckers are confined to reservations. ''In our world, priests are like Jedi Knights with special powers and training,'' explains director Scott Stewart (Legion). ''Our vampires are more feral and disturbing than, say, the teen-angst vampires of Twilight or the sexy vampires of True Blood. Those vampires are metaphors. Ours aren't.''
Zach Galifianakis Goes Nuts for It's Kind of a Funny Story The offbeat comedy (out Sept. 24) stars United States of Tara's Keir Gilchrist as a stressed-out teen who commits himself to a psych ward, where he gets life advice from patients, including Bobby (Zach Galifianakis). ''The concept of the movie is like a teen version of One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest,'' says producer Kevin Misher. ''But the tone is more similar to The Breakfast Club. It's funny.''
Ben Affleck and Jon Hamm Play Cops and Robbers Ben Affleck co-wrote, directed, and stars in The Town (out Sept. 17), an adaptation of Chuck Hogan's crime novel Prince of Thieves. Affleck, who made his directing debut with 2007's acclaimed Gone Baby Gone, plays a bank robber from Charlestown, Mass., being hunted by the feds (including Mad Men's Jon Hamm, left). ''Turns out it's not that hard to rob a bank,'' says Affleck, who went to multiple prisons to prep for the film. ''It's getting away with it that's the hard part.'' Source: EW
