âThe Alande from March âreceives the seedling

Well things were starting to look a little grim in the funding department, bringing up the possibility that Clooney and company would have to halt pre-production thanks to not having enough bucks to go forward. In swoops Guy East and Nigel Sinclair, chairmen of Exclusive Media Group who are teaming up with Brian Oliver, president of Cross Creek Pictures in order to get the film's finances up to par to start production. The George Clooney film "The Ides of March" built up a cast with himself locked in to direct and star in the feature based off the Broadway play "Farragut North" by Beau Willimon. The script was written by Clooney, Grant Heslov from Smoke House Pictures and Willimon. "Ides" has a cast that includes George Clooney, Ryan Gosling, Marisa Tomei, Paul Giamatti and Evan Rachel Wood."Ides" focuses on a press agent falls (Gosling) who prey to backroom politics, the manipulat! ions of veteran political operatives and the seduction of a young intern. Giamatti plays a rival campaign manager, Tomei plays a reporter for the New York Times, and Wood plays an intern for the campaign.
