Winnie peuh against Harry Potter

Don't know how I missed this, usually I'm on top of all things Disney, but it appears as if the Mouse House has shuffled some dates around for a couple of its upcoming animated features. The big move is the new Winnie the Pooh feature being released on July 15th, the same day as the last installment of the Harry Potter franchise. SO IT"S The Hundred Acre Wood going up against the Forbidden Forest.More from the trades:Disney announced Thursday it has set release dates for toons "Winnie the Pooh" on July 15, 2011 and "Reboot Ralph," skedded for March 22, 2013.

"Reboot," which is rumored to have been originally titled "Joe Jump" (Daily Variety, July 26, 2006) and has been on Disney's plate for a while, will also get the 3D treatment. "Winnie," directed by Stephen Anderson and Don Hall, will rep Walt Disney Animation Studio's latest addition to its hand-drawn catalog.

Slated for a prime summer slot, "Winnie" will go head-to-head with Warner Bros.' final "Harry Potter" installment, while "Reboot" is the first pic to lay claim to the March date.

Disney's summer slate this year starts with Jake Gyllenhaal-starrer "Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time" on May 28, followed by 3D toon installment "Toy Story 3" on June 18 and "The Sorcerer's Apprentice" July 16.

Hunter over at Blue Sky has more on Reboot and the progress of a couple of other Disney projects like another "Prep and Landing".I loved Winnie the Pooh growing up. Who didn't? I'm actually really stoked to see new adventures of Pooh, Tigger and Eeyore. Guess the kid in me is still alive and kicking. I'm curious to see what kind of dent, if any, it makes on Harry Potter's last big weekend.Source: the trades
