Tom Hooper control the dga rewards

The SAG Awards wasn't the only big show that was taking place during this previous weekend. The annual DGA Awards took place this past Saturday, filled with a some-what unlikely win from Tom Hooper. "The King's Speech" director went home with the coveted Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Feature Film award. Only a few times has the recipient of this award gone on to loose the Best Director Oscar, which means this guy certainly has a great shot of taking a golden boy home next month. Anne Hathaway seems ace Cineast phänomenal, which described by Catwoman

On Bleeding Cool’s web site, Kevin McCarthy of Kevin and Josh Movie Show interviewed Wally Pfister, Christopher Nolan’s regular cinematographer.

McCarthy specifically asked about actress Anne Hathaway’s screen test for “The Dark Knight Rises.”

“So, Wally. You shot Anne’s screen test for Catwoman?” asked McCarthy.

Pfister replied to the affirmative to “Catwoman,” and not “Selina Kyle.”

He also stated, “She looks phenomenal in the wardrobe.”

Pfister was also asked about other casting rumors regarding the film, but he couldn’t answer the questions since there is a lot kept secret from him.

He did indicate the film will be filmed in IMAX “as much as possible.” He also described to Bleeding Cool that the opening sequence will be “something impressive, something that could live up to, if not surpass, the spectacle of the last film.”

At the Santa Barbara International Film Festival over the weekend, Nolan was asked directly about Hathaway on whether she will be playing Catwoman or Selina Kyle. He responded with a smile without saying a word, according to SuperHeroHype.

The film will be directed by Nolan. It stars Christian Bale, Tom Hardy and Hathaway.

I guess we’ll just have to use our imaginations for now.
