Roofridge indicated overviews `off the Tintin off Steven Spielberg and off Peter Jackson

The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn doesn’t see release until over a year from now — on December 23, 2011 to be exact. But the live-action footage upon which the mocap animated film will be based was directed by Steven Spielberg a year ago, with Jamie Bell playing the title character. (Tintin, not the unicorn.) The footage was then handed off to Peter Jackson and WETA, who went to work animating CGI footage based upon the live-action work.

We haven’t seen a single render of Tintin or the world the film will depict. Until now, that is. But we still don’t have a full image. For the moment there are only glimpses of textures. But they offer an idea of what will be revealed, likely on Monday. Hit the jump for an assembly of the image we might see this week.

Empire is slowly revealing a dozen close-up bits of the eventual debut image. There are eight so far, with a new one being added to the site every few hours. Several of the close-ups appear to be from a rendered version of the image above. Putting them together, we can see something taking shape.

Click either of the following images to enlarge.

Here are the previews released so far, each of which demonstrates that we’ll see a very photo-realistic level of detail.

And this is how they seem to fit into the classic image. Tintin is often pictured in a blue sweater, which seems to be what we’ll see, rather than the suit. There’s no perfect correlation for the one close-up that seems to be the shadowy edge of the spotlight, but you get the idea.

Mystery poster for âtransformers: The darkness off the moon? â

Somebody took a photo of a possible poster on an easel of Michael Bay’s “Transformers: The Dark of the Moon.”

The poster is with Decepticon’s Shockwave peering over the moon with his cyclop eye. The moon has the Decepticon symbol visible on its surface.

The tagline reads, “Be Afraid of the Dark,” and with a released date of July 1, 2011.

This movie is the third and final movie for Transformers for Michael Bay. The poster cannot be verified, but TFormers.com claimed it looks very similar to the teaser poster for “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.”

Check out the poster below:

Gig Patta’s Take: I was really hoping Michael Bay would change the title of the movie. The tagline is too similar to next year’s “Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark” movie by Guillermo del Toro. More likely, this is only a placard and not an official poster.

What do you think of this poster?

Two additional members off the distribution were connected for âmen into the black 3 â

A golden girl and a pussycat doll win join the cast of Men in Black 3.

It is confirmed actress Betty White and singer Nicole Scherzinger will have roles in “Men in Black 3” with Will Smith.

It is not known who will White play, but Scherzinger discussed her guest role in the film.

“My name is Lilly. She’s like a small villain role,” she said. “I’m so excited because I get to die. I make an appearance. I say a couple of lines and then I die.”

The cast will also include Gemma Arterton, Josh Brolin and Tommy Lee Jones and the film is scheduled to be released in 2012.

Gig Patta’s Take: Why not? If Rihanna could get an acting role in upcoming “Battleship,” then why shouldn’t Scherzinger too. And she’s a villain and dies. Who wouldn’t want to see that?

What do you think of Nicole Scherzinger and Betty White to be in “Men in Black 3?”
