Ton surfing new side drunk ground for the off `

Surf’s up!

Sony Pictures released a new trailer for “Soul Surfer.”

The film is based on an inspirational true story of surfer Bethany Hamilton, who lost her arm in a shark attack and to overcome all odds to become a surfing champion again with the love of her family, her sheer determination and unwavering faith.

The film stars AnnaSophia Robb, Helen Hunt, and Dennis Quaid. Singer Carrie Underwood will be making her film debut.

It is directed by Sean McNamara and will be in theaters on April 8.
