Thursday amusing cheats the program is outside

If you have friends who are going to Comic-Con, or as I call it 'the Con', this year I'm sure you heard the complaints about the schedule not being out. How am I supposed to know what panels to go to? Is Entertainment Weekly's Visionary Panel on Thursday or Friday? Complain, whine, complain.Okay, maybe I was one of those who was complaining, but now the schedule is out! Well, at least the one for Preview Night and Thursday of the Con. Of course Preview Night is your typical slot of pilot episodes, but Thursday is where it's happening.Disney is blessing us with the wonderful awesome majesty of "Tron Legacy" first thing in the morning. That's right, a full on panel with the likes of Jeff Bridges and company chatting it up about one of the most anticipated science fiction films this year. After going to the Con for years, the past two contained an over-abundance of "Twilight". Sure, it pollu! ted our precious San Diego convention center with all things sparkly, but not this year. Summit Entertainment is dominating the early afternoon once more, but this time with Robert Schwentke's "Red".Of course there's other awesome things that are popping out on Thursday in the film section, which include DreamWorks Animation's "Megamind", "The Expendables" and a Sony combo of "Battle: Los Angeles" and "Salt". Yeah, "Salt". I know, that totally doesn't make any sense to me either.Don't worry, there's plenty of actual comic-related panels to attend. Between the monstrous DC Comics 75th Anniversary Panel, one that centers exclusively on the great Geoff Johns and Vertigo: The New Classics, you've got your pick of the litter. If you're going to the Con on Thursday, don't forget to see Latino Review's very own George 'El Guapo' Roush and other online journalists chat it up at the Masters of the Web panel.
