Attractions off Luhrmann into actresses âbroad Gatsby â

One of the strangest upcoming projects has to be Baz Luhrmann attached to direct a live action version of "The Great Gatsby". Now that he's permanently locked n to tackle this project, it's time to find our leading ladies. The ones he has his eyes on for the role of Daisy Buchanan is Rebecca Hall, Amanda Seyfried, Michelle Williams, Keira Knightley, Natalie Portman, Abbie Cornish, Blake Lively and Scarlett Johansson. That's a lot of actresses, but of course there has to be one that stands out of the crowd in the director's mind. Rebecca Hall, last seen in Ben Affleck's "The Town", is said to be the front runner for casting. If Portman gives Luhrmann's project the time of day it could easily be hers, but since she's got a little bit of acting time on her hands she's been given offers to every other big project out there. Hey, when you go and dish out a wonderful performance like she did in "Black S! wan", of course people will practically be on their knees begging you to be in their next film.Out of all these actresses, which one of them would you like to see play Daisy in this version of "Gatsby"?Source: Deadline
