Rewards off exit off the circle off film criticisms off New York for 2010

In a press release, the New York Film Critics Circle voted “The Social Network” as the Best Film of 2010 and Best Director was awarded for David Fincher for the film.

The Best Actress award went to Annette Bening for “The Kids Are Alright,” and Best Actor award was given to Colin Firth for “The King’s Speech.”

“This year’s choices reflect the current critical mindset,” said Armond White, New York Film Critics Circle’s chair and film critic for New York Press. “It’s proof that it’s always a good year for movies.”
