Taking place in Orlando, FL from August 12-15, Star Wars Celebration V commemorates the 30th Anniversary of Star Wars: Episode V The Empire Strikes Back and the ongoing, weekly adventures of Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Unfortunately, the original trilogy will be the "special edition" versions pretty much everyone on the planet hates. Combine that with the crappy last trilogy of films and you've got a box set that's almost awesome. Why not give viewers the choice to watch the original or special edition versions of the original trilogy? Good thing I still have my Laserdisc copies. Oh who am I kidding, I'll be buying the damn thing like everyone else. Check out this cut scene from Return of the Jedi shown at the convention.that has now made its way everywhere online. Bootleg footage? Eh. It's a clip for a dvd set. Plus you get to hear grown men whoop it up over a deleted scene. (Ok, so it's no excuse for my Sith lord behavior.) Source: NY Times
