Two directors Sniff Out âWolverine 2 â

Unfortunately for David Slade, a nice chunk of people actually associate him with "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse" than his previous directed work like "Hard Candy" and "30 Days of Night". Well, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine 2" could be the latest notch on his resume if he ends up grabbing the job. It's not entirely too simple to take, especially since Robert Schwentke also has his eyes set on the directing gig. Schwentke also has a short but cool resume that includes "The Time Traveler's Wife" and the upcoming Summit Entertainment film "Red". Word has it that Slade is a shoe in for the job, but minds change so fast in this town that it wouldn't surprise me if someone else got the slot."Wolverine 2" apparently revolves around Logan (Hugh Jackman) still out and about in Japan who begins a relationship with a woman who's hand in marriage is already promised for an! other guy. Then our favorite Wolvie has to duke it out with her father and samurai sword wielding brothers. When reading this synopsis, for some reason my mind trails over to Wolverine's brief romance with Mariko Yashida back in the comics when Madeline Pryor was first shacking up with Scott Summers. It could be taken from there, but we'll see.Out of the two, would you rather have David Slade or Robert Schwentke directing "Wolverine 2"?Source: Vulture
