Resemble carried it the other standard RK the blow beginning except its Mark of #1

It finally took a comedy of Will Ferrell proportions to knock Inception off of it's box office throne. The Other Guy dominated the box office this weekend, with only Step Up 3-D as its real competitor when it came to new content. And I don't know of many dudes that are gonna start chest bumping each other over that one. The Other Guys made 35.6 million its opening weekend, a good opening, but Will was unable to topple Talladega Nights as far as his opening weekend top take. Star in the next Spidey movie, dude. Then you won't have Talladega hanging over your shoulder.Inception is still doing big business. $18.6 million in its 4th week. Over $470 million worldwide. Talk about dreamy.Step Up 3-D, the story of young people settling scores through dance competitions and bad dialogue, backspinned its way into third place with $15.5 million. Looks like you got served, beeyatch. The rest of the box ! office was kind of 'meh'. Doesn't look like too many people went this weekend. Might have something to do with that darned thing called "fresh air". By the way, check out Middle Men if it's playing in your area. I think you'll dig it.Tomorrow night I'll be checking out The Rocketeer at the Arclight Hollywood. Can't wait to see that one again on the big screen. It just might be my favorite comic-book turned movie of all time. Next week is the debut of Scott Pilgrim vs. The World. A fantastic movie but will it end up like Kick-Ass? Will people go see it, or have the short TV spots left most scratching their heads who aren't familiar with the source material? We'll have to wait and see. Also debuting next week is the new Julia Roberts I must find/fall/look/hope for love movie called Eat Pray Love. Can Julia take down The Other Guys? Or will it fall to Sylvester Stallone's The Expendables to shoot their way to the top spot? It'll be interesting to see what happens. I almost for! got! Big congrats go out to Billy Mitchell for reclaiming both! the Don key Kong and Donkey Kong Jr. world records. There's no doubt about it - Billy is still the King of Kong.WEEKEND TOP 10 STUDIO ESTIMATES, August 6 - 8, 2010. 1 The Other Guys $35.6 M 2 Inception $18.6 M 3 Step Up 3-D $15.5 M 4 Salt $11.1 M 5 Dinner For Schmucks $10.5 M 6 Despicable Me $9.4 M 7 Cats & Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore $6.9 M 8 Charlie St. Cloud $4.7 M 9 Toy Story 3 $3.0 M 10 The Kids Are All Right $2.6 M What did you guys see over the weekend?
