Hobbit fans rejoice, it looks like the two-part prequel is finally going back into the full swing of pre-production. 3Foot7 Ltd. reported that the official filming start date for Peter Jackson's "The Hobbit" will be March 21st. That must come as a relief to many fans after the monstrous amounts of set backs that "The Hobbit" has been experiencing, including the recent one over Jackson's sudden surgery."Despite some delays we are fully back on track and very excited to get started," the film's director, Peter Jackson, said in a statement issued by the company. There are a number of actors who are returning to Middle Earth, reprising their "Lord of the Rings" roles. Among those includes Cate Blanchett (Galadriel), Andy Serkis (Gollum) and Sir Ian McKellen (Gandalf). Now the question is whether or not they'll end up having to push back the release date. Do you think they can wrap up the first h! alf of "The Hobbit" in time for a 2012 release?Source: WSJ
