Cameron Diaz slipways into âthe operation â

Cameron Diaz must be one happy woman right now. How could she not be? After all, she's now attached to co-star alongside Colin Firth in the upcoming remake of "Gambit." The original was released in 1966 starring Shirley MacLaine and Michael Caine.Joel and Ethan Coen penned the remake set to be directed on the big screen by Michael Hoffman. Hoffman's previous directing credits include "The Emperor's Club" and the Oscar nominated film "The Last Station."The story centers on a London art curator (Firth) who plans to con a wealthy collector into buying a phony Monet painting. He enlists a Texas steer roper (Diaz) to pose as a woman whose grandfather liberated the painting at the end of World War II. The project is under Crime Scene Pictures with Mike Lobell producing along with Rob Paris and Adam Ripp. You can check out Cameron Diaz for a semi-small amount ! of time on screen in "The Green Hornet."
